Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Millwrights for an ASAP start in Muscatine, IA.

PAY: $30/hr
PER DIEM: $100 per day worked
HOURS: Shifts will be 8 hours starting at 7AM
SCHEDULE: Work will be Monday-Friday; approximately 40 hours/week
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3+ month contract job

Millwright Job Description:
--Working with engineers and other construction professionals to understand the blueprints and layout of the plant.
--Will be performing demo work on machinery, equipment, structural steel, and piping.
--Will be doing new installs of machinery, equipment, structural steel and piping.
--Assembling and aligning these systems to ensure they are positioned correctly and meet design specifications.
--Ensuring all machinery is properly aligned and leveled during installation to guarantee smooth operation once the plant is up and running.
--Using specialized tools and precision measurements to align components like shafts, gears, belts, and motors.
--Fabricating and welding steel structures for equipment installation or modification.
--Creating custom solutions when parts or configurations need to be tailored to meet specific operational requirements.
--Installing piping and other systems necessary for the operation of the plant, including water or air supply systems, cooling systems, and lubrication lines.
--Connecting equipment to utilities like electricity and water.
--Working closely with electricians to ensure that the mechanical systems integrate with the electrical systems of the plant, such as motors, sensors, and control panels.
--Helping install and connect mechanical parts to electrical drives, ensuring the machinery operates as intended.

Qualifications for Millwright:
--5+ years of Millwright experience
--OSHA 10 Cert
--Strong background in Structural Steel Work
--Pipe installation experience
--Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
--Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted

--Must be eligible to work in the United States
--Must have reliable transportation to the job site
--Applicants may be subject to pre-employment drug screen and background check
--Position requires use of hard hat, steel toe boots, gloves, glasses, and vest
