Assistant Electrical Foreman
Pay $51-55/hr
$100 Per Diem Days worked
Must have current CO JW card to qualify

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise site/electrical staff while Electrical Foreman is away.
Organize and lead key tasks across the course of construction (i.e. pad buildout, wire pulls, terminations etc.) as dictated by the Electrical Foreman.
Provide hands-on guidance and training for Electrical Apprentices on the crew.
Create, populate, maintain, and submit site production boards.
Conduct thorough and accurate electrical material takeoffs and all other preconstruction deliverables before each project in a timely manner.

Additional Responsibilities:
Assist the Electrical Foreman in overseeing daily operations of the electrical installation team.
Lead by example with a strong commitment to safety, ensuring compliance with all safety standards, codes, and best practices on-site, including NFPA 70E.
Supervise and support the installation of underground electrical systems, conduit basement layout/buildout, AC/DC electrical wiring, terminations, control wiring, testing/commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with developers, engineers, and project managers to ensure the proper design and execution of electrical installations. Review IFCs to assess inaccuracies and inconsistencies across drawing revisions.
Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure efficient and accurate project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper installation techniques, adherence to safety guidelines, and conformance to electrical codes.
Maintain and enforce the completion of proper documentation including as-built drawings, material inventory tracking, quality control inspections, and safety compliance reports.

Requirements:
Valid and current Journeyman Wiremans License OR 4th year electrical apprentice.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with photovoltaic electrical installations, underground buildout, and both AC and DC electrical systems. (3yrs Minimum.)
Familiar with the installation and maintenance of solar power system hardware, including inverters, aggregation equipment, racking, and trackers.
In-depth understanding of electrical control systems (including 24v and 120v controls), monitoring devices, UPS, and troubleshooting techniques.
Safety-first mindset with a proven track record of maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Familiar with JHA/JSAs and similar jobsite documentation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, conduit/conductor schedules, single line diagrams, elevations, and other technical specifications.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Ability to forecast workload and adjust personnel assignments accordingly. Provide project management with accurate labor forecasts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders. Stays calm in difficult situations, maintains professional demeanor at all times.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing project needs and deadlines.
Suitable hand and power tooling, in good working order.
Punctual, on time, willing to work Overtime hours as needed.
Valid and current OSHA 10 certification.
Valid and current drivers license with reliable transportation.
Clean background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working on utility-scale solar projects.
Safe and competent heavy equipment operator (excavator, telehandler, skid loader.)
Valid and current NFPA 70E certification.
Valid and current OSHA 30 certification.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, equipment, and tools (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to work outdoors in various extreme weather conditions year-round, and at heights/confined spaces.
Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
