Colorado Solar Assistant Mechanical Foreman Direct Hire Position

Solar Assistant Mechanical Foreman
Pay $37-39/hr
$100 Per diem days worked

Main Responsibilities:
Crews Safety, Quality, and Efficiency
Mentoring and training crew leads in different aspects of mechanical work (Post, Rack, and Mods)
Coordinate and manage materials, tools, and equipment for mechanical work.
Work with Project Superintendent on scheduling, manpower, tools, equipment, and accountability.
Help bring project in on time, budget, and without sacrificing quality.

Other Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safety of crew members under your supervision
Responsible for the quality of work over all mechanical scopes
Daily response to emails and phone calls
Responsible for development and supervision for crew members.
Responsible for QC, photos, and daily reporting in Procore.
Ensuring that crew members time sheets, daily logs, and quantities are correct.
Use knowledge and experience to optimize mechanical performance.
Determine daily tasks and assignments for crew.
Assist Superintendent with daily production board for mechanical scopes.
Provide crew members with necessary tools, equipment, and safety gear for all tasks.
Manage tool and parts inventory for mechanical scopes.
Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
Provide guidance, training, and direction to crew members.
Ensure assigned team members perform key tasks.
Always conduct yourself in a professional manner.
All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Confidently operates all equipment on site and able to train new hires (forklift, skid steer and pile drivers (excavator a plus)
Able to manage installation of posts, racking, and module scopes.
Flexibility to travel from project to project for extended durations.
Minimum 2 years of ground mount solar construction experience
Maintain a high level of leadership and respect amongst field employees.
Ability to read detailed mechanical drawings and install manuals and perform product take-off and calculations.
Possess necessary communication skills to professionally interface with management and clients.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Time management skills
Works well in a team setting
Always maintain a professional appearance
Overtime required based on project needs.
Clean driving record and means of transportation.
Osha 30 certified
First Aid and CPR certified.
