Job Description:
Join our team as an Assistant Project Manager/Estimator in Chesapeake, VA, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting growing operations. This position focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects with an emphasis on cost analysis, bid preparation, and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities:
▪️Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
▪️Conduct thorough cost analysis to ensure project feasibility.
▪️Prepare competitive bids to secure new projects.
▪️Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
▪️Maintain a strong understanding of construction documentation and cost structures.
▪️Utilize estimating software to streamline processes.
▪️Manage change orders and requests for information (RFIs).
▪️Oversee demolition processes and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Essential Skills:
▪️At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry as a Project Manager, ▪️Assistant Project Manager, or Estimator.
▪️Proficiency in estimation and construction management.
▪️Strong project coordination skills.
▪️Experience with construction estimating and demolition.
▪️Proficiency in Bluebeam and estimating software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
▪️Strong understanding of construction documentation and cost structures.
▪️Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
▪️Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Work Environment:
▪️The role involves both office work and on-site visits as needed, with typical hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits:
