Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites or industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of crane operations and safety protocols, along with experience in operating additional heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift and move materials as required by project specifications.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and other heavy machinery to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations and ensure proper load placement.
Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radio communication during lifting operations.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating equipment on-site.
Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
Experience
Proven experience as a Crane Operator WITH a valid certification or license for crane operation.
Familiarity with various types of cranes including Liebherr LR 1300sx cranes
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to crane operation and heavy equipment usage.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.
