VantagePoint Alliance is looking for experienced ND Licensed Industrial Electricians with a current ND Electrical License to support electrical installations and maintenance in oilfield and heavy industrial environments. This role involves running and terminating cable, installing conduit and cable trays, and performing troubleshooting and repairs to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
� Install, route, and secure electrical wiring, including pulling and terminating cable for power and control systems.
� Install and support cable trays, conduit (EMT, RMC, GRC), and wireways to NEC and client specifications.
� Perform terminations for motors, panels, junction boxes, VFDs, switchgear, lighting, and control systems.
� Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
� Install, troubleshoot, and maintain motors, motor controls, pumps, MCCs, transformers, lighting systems, PLCs, and instrumentation wiring.
� Perform bending, threading, cutting, and assembling conduit (PVC, IMC, GRC) as required.
� Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and functional tests using appropriate electrical testing equipment.
� Ensure all work is performed in compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and client safety standards.
� Collaborate with project supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
� Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and test results.
� Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in field and plant environments.
� Adhere to strict lockout/tagout (LOTO) and jobsite safety procedures.
Qualifications:
� North Dakota Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician license a must.
� 3+ years of experience as an Industrial or Oilfield Electrician.
� Strong knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical standards.
� Proficiency with hand and power tools, cable pulling equipment, pipe benders, and electrical test meters.
� Ability to work in outdoor, oilfield, and heavy industrial environments (heat, cold, heights, confined spaces).
� Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
� Valid driver�s license; willingness to travel to remote job sites.
