VantagePoint Alliance is seeking experienced Millwrights to support field operations in the industrial and oilfield sectors. This role involves the installation, alignment, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical systems, piping, and structural components. Millwrights will work on heavy industrial projects requiring precision, safety, and expertise in mechanical construction practices.
Hours: 55+ hours a week
Pay: BOE
Per Diem: Yes, varies by job location
Key Responsibilities:
� Perform mechanical field operations including installation, assembly, and alignment of equipment and piping systems.
� Bolt up piping spools, perform torquing operations, and ensure connections meet quality and safety standards.
� Safely execute lifting and rigging activities to position and install equipment, pipe, and structural components.
� Set pipe, cable tray supports, and other steel structures according to specifications and drawings.
� Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete work accurately.
� Operate and maintain hand tools, torque wrenches, rigging gear, and other equipment required for the job.
� Adhere to all site safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
� Collaborate with project supervisors, welders, pipefitters, and other trades to complete installations on schedule.
Qualifications:
� Must have OSHA 10
� Previous experience as a Millwright or Pipefitter in industrial, oilfield, or heavy construction environments.
� Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rigging practices, and precision alignment techniques.
� Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.
� Skilled in the use of torquing equipment, rigging hardware, and standard millwright tools.
� Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in all tasks.
� Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and elevated work areas.
Preferred:
� NCCER Millwright, Rigging, or equivalent certifications.
� Experience with oilfield piping systems, cable tray installations, and structural steel.
� OSHA 30, TWIC, or other site-specific credentials.
