Workify Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our team on a project in Lawrenceville, VA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and renovation, with strong proficiency in blueprint reading, hand tools, and low-voltage systems. This role requires strict adherence to safety standards and local codes.

Per Diem: No
Pay: Up to $32/hr

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine system layouts
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and testing equipment (voltmeters, ohmmeters, etc.)
- Perform new installations and renovations on construction sites
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes at all times
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to support seamless project execution
- Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and recommend improvements

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, low-voltage systems, and industrial practices
- Proficiency with hand tools, benders, and electrical testing equipment
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients
