Position Summary
The Cost Management Lead is a pivotal role within EP&S Project Management, responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of cost planning, management, and control throughout the project lifecycle. This individual ensures robust financial stewardship by developing and maintaining comprehensive cost databases, preparing accurate estimates, and facilitating sound financial decisions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
• Collect and analyze cost proposals from vendors, contractors, and suppliers to build and maintain a reliable cost database for use in various types of project estimates.
• Develop and produce multiple classes of cost estimates to support business cases, financial investment decisions, change order evaluation, scenario analysis, and project planning activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cost estimation, cost engineering, or project controls within the construction or engineering industries.
• Advanced proficiency with cost estimating software (such as CostX, RSMeans, Sage Estimating, or similar) and project management tools (such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent). Strong command of Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
