Traveling Commissioning Electrician for Solar Sites
-JW license is preferred but not required
-Typically 1MW – 15MW in size
-Must be able to use a phone and/or tablet to plug into software on a solar site and analyze the code readings
-Must be able to troubleshoot and use critical thinking skills to fix problems accordingly – including contacting the manufacturer, taking photos and uploading to share drives, testing terminations, sensors and inverters
-Must be able to travel/work independently
-Must have solid computer skills
This position would have to help with the basic construction of the site as well when needed.
Pay: 35-40 DOE
Start: 11/10
5x10s minimum
$140/day worked ($700/week max) minimum – varies depending on state and site, typically goes up in more expensive states
Start in MN. After 2-3 months, most likely head to NM
