Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Job Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Quality Control Manager overseeing a $6 million Design-Bid-Build construction project. This exciting role involves managing a 13,000 square foot new construction project that includes working directly with steel and concrete. As a key player, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project.

Responsibilities:
▪️Oversee quality control for a $6 million Design-Bid-Build construction project.
▪️Manage construction activities involving steel and concrete.
▪️Ensure compliance with USACE and NAVFAC standards.
▪️Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.
▪️Implement safety standards in accordance with OSHA30.
▪️Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and safety objectives are met.

Essential Skills:
▪️7+ years of Quality Control experience on relevant construction projects.
▪️Active CQM certification.
▪️OSHA30 certification.
▪️Experience in new construction projects involving steel and concrete.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
▪️Experience with safety standards and first aid procedures.
▪️Knowledge of ECATTS systems.

Work Environment:
▪️The work environment is set in a government NAVFAC at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA.
The position requires comfort with working outdoors and adapting to the unique conditions of a naval base.
▪️The role involves collaboration with joint ventures and working in a team-focused atmosphere.
