Installation Technician – Brookfield, WI
Full-Time - Direct Hire Position
40+ hours OT | 58+ hours Double Time
$18-$35/hr (Based Upon Experience)

We are seeking experienced Installation Technicians responsible for installing and maintaining systems such as Voice and Data, Fiber Optics, DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems), Security, Access Control, Wireless Systems, and Nurse Call.

Key Responsibilities:
Install pathways and cabling
Read and interpret blueprints
Prepare for tasks and anticipate equipment needs
Complete job layouts for small projects
Lead small crews when needed
Maintain a safe jobsite and comply with OSHA standards
Install and terminate peripheral devices
Program and test systems
Provide customer training
Perform maintenance and service calls
Travel to troubleshoot and replace hardware
Complete required paperwork accurately

Requirements:
Minimum age: 18
High School Diploma or equivalent
2–5 years in the communications industry
Knowledge of telecom, data networks, cabling, connectivity, and hardware/software troubleshooting
Strong communication skills
Ability to read floor plans and work in a team environment
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
Flexible schedule (may include nights, weekends, holidays)
Pass pre-employment screening
Preferred: PMP or BICSI Certification

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, bend, crawl, and climb ladders
Terminate cables according to color codes
Push/pull feed cable through walls, ceilings, and floors
Drive to job sites and load/unload tools
Occasional out-of-state travel
