Talascend is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Contract opportunity with our client in Forest Park, IL

PAY:

$24hr, $90 A DAY PER DIEM

OVERIGHT SHIFT- 9PM-6AM, START IMMEDIATELY

Overview
The role involves supporting ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting for industrial conveyor and sorting systems.

Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on belts, motors, chutes, and sorters
• Monitor equipment performance
• Diagnose and repair issues with conveyor belts and drive motors
• Conduct belt tracking and motor changes as needed
• Ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
• Respond promptly to mechanical failures or irregularities

Qualifications
• Previous experience with conveyor systems, sorters, or similar industrial equipment

Requirements
• Ability to run and track belts, change motors, and inspect chutes/sorters
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to be proactive during downtime and monitor systems closely
• Reliable and team-oriented work ethic
