Trillium Construction is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Safety Manager with hands-on experience in ironwork for a project in Columbus, MS.

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, training employees, conducting inspections, and reducing workplace risks.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions in both English and Spanish.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.
• Ensure company compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and ironwork crews to promote safe work practices.
• Maintain safety documentation, logs, and records.
• Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous safety enhancement across all operations.

Pay rate is $40/hour plus Per Diem: $100 / day for all 7 days. Schedule: Mon - Sat, 60+ / week.

Qualifications
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Experience in ironwork or related construction trades (required).
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lead, communicate, and train diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving, observation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in the field and perform physical site walkthroughs.

Preferred Skills
• Experience developing safety programs.
• Familiarity with risk assessment tools and accident-prevention strategies.
