Trillium Construction is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Safety Manager with hands-on experience in ironwork for a project in Columbus, MS.

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, training employees, conducting inspections, and reducing workplace risks.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular jobsite inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions in both English and Spanish.
Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.
Ensure company compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations.
Collaborate with supervisors and ironwork crews to promote safe work practices.
Maintain safety documentation, logs, and records.
Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous safety enhancement across all operations.

Pay rate is $40/hour plus Per Diem: $100 / day for all 7 days. Schedule: Mon - Sat, 60+ / week.

Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
Experience in ironwork or related construction trades (required).
Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulatory requirements.
Ability to lead, communicate, and train diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving, observation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in the field and perform physical site walkthroughs.

Preferred Skills
Experience developing safety programs.
Familiarity with risk assessment tools and accident-prevention strategies.
