Electrical Inspector – Substation Projects

We are seeking experienced Electrical Inspectors to support utility substation construction projects by providing on-site inspection, quality oversight, and day-to-day direction to field crews. This role ensures all electrical work meets project specifications, safety requirements, and utility standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite inspection and quality verification of electrical work on substation, transmission and distribution, and other high-voltage projects.
- Provide daily oversight and guidance to crews to ensure work is installed correctly and safely.
- Review drawings, specifications, and work packages; confirm compliance throughout construction.
- Identify deficiencies, document findings, and work with site leadership to resolve issues.
- Monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and support adherence to project schedules.
- Interface with engineers, construction managers, and utility representatives as needed.

Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Electrical Inspector, Electrical Technician, or Journeyman Electrician on substation or high-voltage projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, utility standards, and quality requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience providing oversight to field crews.
- Electrical license preferred (Journeyman, Master, or equivalent technical certification).
- Ability to travel to project sites; valid driver’s license; must pass drug screen and background check.
