Industrial Equipment Installer / Millwright – EV Plant (Rivian)

Pay: $37/hr
Hours: 55 hrs/week (OT expected)
Location: Active EV automotive plant

What You’ll Do

Install production equipment in a live plant: set, level, shim, align, anchor, grout

Work on conveyors, robotics, lifts, turntables, battery/module and assembly equipment

Perform laser/precision alignment on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, robots

Install mechanical systems: pneumatics, hydraulics, lubrication, process water

Install electrical: conduit, cable tray, 120–480V 3Ø, 24VDC, sensors, safety circuits

Support startup/commissioning: I/O checks, VFD/servo setup, basic PLC/HMI assist

Read prints: mechanical, electrical, P&IDs

Work safely in live production areas (LOTO, JHAs, permits)

What You Need

4+ years industrial install / millwright / electro-mechanical experience

Experience installing and aligning equipment, conveyors, or robotics

Comfortable with 480V, 24VDC, VFDs/servos, sensors

Rigging basics, overhead crane, lifts

Forklift certified

Valid driver’s license

Nice to Have

OSHA 30, Rigging/Signalperson, Fall Protection

NCCER

ABB / FANUC / KUKA exposure

Automotive, EV, or high-volume manufacturing experience

Work Conditions

Physical role: 50–75 lbs, ladders, kneeling, working at height
