Journeyman Electrician – Commercial Project
Location: Beaver Dam, WI
Project Length: 2-Year Commercial Project
Pay: $60–$65/hour
Per Diem: $125/day (for qualified travelers)
We are hiring Journeyman Electricians for a long-term commercial construction project in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. This is a stable, 2-year opportunity with strong hourly pay and per diem for electricians who meet one of the licensing paths outlined below.
Licensing Requirements (Must Meet ONE)
Wisconsin-licensed Journeyman Electrician, OR
Journeyman Electrician licensed in Iowa (IA) or New Hampshire (NH) and willing to reciprocate to Wisconsin, OR
Journeyman Electrician from any state willing to travel to Wisconsin and take the Wisconsin Journeyman exam
Testing and reciprocity guidance available.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial job sites
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
Install conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), pull wire, and complete terminations
Install lighting, devices, panels, and associated electrical components
Ensure all work complies with NEC, state, and local codes
Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
Coordinate with foremen and other trades on site
Requirements
Valid Journeyman Electrician license (WI, IA, NH, or other state as noted above)
Commercial electrical experience required
OSHA 10 certification required
Eligible and willing to obtain Wisconsin Journeyman license if not already held
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
