Job Description

We are seeking an experienced R-8 Licensed Conveyor Installer to install, assemble, and maintain industrial conveyor systems in manufacturing, distribution, and material-handling facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, precise installation practices, and strict adherence to safety and code requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Install, assemble, align, and secure conveyor systems (belt, roller, chain, overhead, and modular systems)

Interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and installation specifications

Perform mechanical adjustments, leveling, tracking, and tensioning

Coordinate with electricians, millwrights, and other trades on site

Troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation and commissioning

Follow OSHA regulations, site safety rules, and lockout/tagout procedures

Maintain quality control and ensure installations meet R-8 licensing standards

Requirements

Valid R-8 Conveyor Installer License (required)

Proven experience installing industrial conveyor systems

Strong mechanical aptitude and hand/power tool proficiency

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred

Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in automotive, logistics, or large-scale manufacturing facilities

Familiarity with stainless steel and structural steel installations

Welding or millwright experience a plus
