Skillforce is hiring experienced Ironworker Welders for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Peterborough, NH. with consistent work across the Northeast. This position is ideal for seasoned ironworkers who can work independently, lead by example, and maintain high safety and productivity standards on structural steel and precast projects.

Pay: $25-$40/hr (DOE & certifications)
Per Diem: $130/day when traveling
Schedule: Full-time, steady work
Travel: Required throughout the Northeast

Scope of Work:

Connect, rig, bolt-up, and lay deck without supervision

Read and work from steel, precast erection, and deck drawings

Perform limited thickness SMAW welding (carbon steel & stainless)

Lead and mentor crew members on proper erection and welding methods

Manage small crews through various phases of erection

Promote safe work practices and strong production standards

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of ironworking experience

Own ironworker and welding tools

Limited thickness SMAW certification (3G)

Limited thickness stainless SMAW certification (1G)

OSHA 10-hour certification

Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently
