Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Construction Supervisor opportunity in Jonesborough, TN.

Position Summary

The Construction Supervisor provides direct, day-to-day field supervision for construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, compliantly, and in accordance with approved procedures, schedules, and quality standards. This role includes weekday and weekend shifts, providing on-site supervisory oversight to ensure safe execution of work, issue resolution, and coordination with site leadership.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide direct field supervision of craft personnel and subcontractors engaged in construction activities

· Ensure strict adherence to safety culture principles, site procedures, work packages, and regulatory requirements

· Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily construction activities to meet schedule and quality objectives

· Provide supervisory oversight, issue escalation, and coordination with operations, security, and project management

· Conduct pre-job briefs, toolbox talks, and safety meetings

· Verify work readiness, including permits, material availability, and workforce qualifications

· Monitor work performance to ensure compliance with design documents, specifications, and quality requirements

· Identify, document, and resolve field issues; escalate significant concerns as required

· Maintain accurate daily logs, turnover documentation, and progress reporting

· Support emergent work and schedule-driven priorities as required

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience, preferably in nuclear or regulated industrial environments

· Demonstrated experience supervising field construction activities

· Strong working knowledge of nuclear safety culture and work control processes

· Ability to work extended hours, rotating shifts, and weekends as required

· Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

· Proficiency with work packages, drawings, procedures, and construction documentation

· OSHA 30, NFPA, or equivalent safety training

· Experience coordinating with multiple crafts and subcontractors preferred

Physical and Work Environment

· Field-based role requiring frequent walking, standing, climbing, and work in industrial environments

· Ability to work in varying weather conditions
