Skillforce is seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters for a 3-month project in Dubuque, IA. This position involves general commercial carpentry supporting ongoing construction and renovation work.

Scope of Work:

Basic wood framing in a commercial setting

Patch and repair flooring as needed

General carpentry tasks, repairs, and modifications

Read and follow basic drawings or instructions

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Work alongside other trades on site

Schedule:

9 hours/day, Monday–Thursday

4 hours on Friday

Pay:

Up to $29/hr, depending on experience
$100/day per diem paid 7 days so long as you work all scheduled hours

Requirements:

Previous commercial carpentry experience preferred

Knowledge of basic framing and general carpentry practices

Ability to safely use common hand and power tools

Reliable transportation to the jobsite

Strong work ethic and attention to detail
