Trillium Construction is seeking a Lead Technician for a project in New Albany, OH.

Key Responsibilities
-Lead fiber installation, splicing, and testing activities on-site

-Perform advanced fiber testing and analysis (OTDR trace interpretation, loss budgets)

-Oversee fusion splicing for backbone, OSP, and ISP fiber networks

-Ensure fiber routes, splices, and terminations meet design and performance requirements

-Provide technical guidance and training to installers and technicians

-Review and approve fiber test results and documentation

-Coordinate daily work activities and sequencing with project management

-Identify and resolve technical issues impacting schedule or quality

-Enforce installation standards, safety practices, and best methods

-Serve as the primary technical point of contact for fiber-related issues

Pay: $36
Per Diem: $110 / day for all 7 days
Schedule: Mon - Sat, 60h / week

Preferred Qualifications

OSHA 10/30 certification

FOA CFOT + CFOS/T (Testing) or CFOS/S (Splicing)

ETA FOT-OSP or FOT-ISP

BICSI Technician (TECH) or BICSI Installer 2 (INST2)

Fusion Splicing Certification (manufacturer or FOA/ETA)

Advanced Fiber Testing Credentials (OTDR trace analysis)

NICET Level II/III (ITS or Low Voltage)

Fluke Advanced Fiber Certification
