Pay: $40-$50 BOE
Per diem: $140 on 7 days
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in conveyor system installation, overseeing both electrical and mechanical scopes. This role is responsible for full on-site execution�managing labor, subcontractors, schedules, costs, and client relationships to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable project delivery.
This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role ideal for someone who understands conveyor installs from the field up and can confidently lead crews while interfacing with clients and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations for conveyor installation projects
Oversee electrical and mechanical installation activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards
Track and control project costs, labor hours, and material usage
Supervise in-house crews and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and quality workmanship
Coordinate schedules, manpower planning, and work sequencing to meet project deadlines
Serve as the primary on-site client contact, maintaining strong professional relationships
Enforce jobsite safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure OSHA compliance
Identify and resolve field issues, scope changes, and installation challenges in real time
Provide accurate daily/weekly reporting on progress, labor, and cost performance
Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, and Operations teams to drive project success
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing conveyor or material handling system installations
Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical and mechanical conveyor systems
Proven experience managing field labor, subcontractors, and site logistics
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, mechanical layouts, and installation plans
Solid understanding of project cost control, labor tracking, and scheduling
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client expectations on-site
OSHA safety knowledge and commitment to safe work practices
Willingness to travel extensively to project sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Background in distribution centers, warehouses, or automated material handling systems
Experience with PLC-controlled conveyor systems (not programming�installation coordination)
Prior role as a Superintendent, Site Supervisor, or Field Manager
OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification
