Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-driven Dragline Operator with proven experience operating an American 9255 dragline. The ideal candidate will be skilled in heavy excavation operations and capable of safely handling large-scale earthmoving in demanding industrial or civil construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate an American 9255 dragline for excavation, material handling, and site preparation

Perform daily pre-operation inspections and routine preventive maintenance checks

Monitor dragline performance, controls, and ground conditions during operation

Work closely with supervisors, spotters, and ground crews to maintain safe workflow

Follow grade stakes, excavation plans, and production targets

Identify and report mechanical issues, wear, or safety concerns immediately

Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and site safety standards

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience operating American 9255 or similar large dragline equipment

Strong understanding of dragline controls, rigging, and excavation techniques

Ability to read site plans, elevations, and grade indicators

Mechanical aptitude for basic maintenance and troubleshooting

Strong commitment to jobsite safety and teamwork

Heavy equipment certifications preferred

Work Environment:

Large-scale excavation, mining, or heavy civil construction sites

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
