Job Description

We are a leading construction firm specializing in commercial projects ranging from $1 to $3 million. With a commitment to high-quality workmanship and exceptional service, we seek a commercial construction carpenter to join our dynamic team. You will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures across various commercial projects, including mixed-use spaces, offices, gas stations, fast-food restaurants, and commercial upfits.

Responsibilities
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
* Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.
* Install structures and fixtures such as drywall, framing, doors, windows, frames, floorings, and trim.
* Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures.
* Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
* Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Essential Skills
* More than 4 years of experience in commercial or residential remodel construction.
* Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
* Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools.
* OSHA 10 certification.
* Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment

Our projects are entirely commercial, including offices, fast-food outlets, gas stations, and commercial upfits. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am onwards, with overtime available during the week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
