Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding pipes up to 120 inches in diameter, primarily using flux core welding techniques. Experience in fitting is beneficial, though not mandatory. Candidates should be able to back gouge and have experience welding boilers or pressure vessels, as these skills typically transfer well to the position. Welding will be focused on carbon steel, with stainless steel experience as a plus.

Responsibilities
* Perform flux core welding on pipes up to 120 inches in diameter.
* Engage in some fitting tasks, with fitting or fabrication experience being advantageous.
* Execute back gouging and arc gouging effectively.
* Read and interpret tape measures accurately.
* Ensure high-quality welds on carbon steel, typically quarter inch to 1 inch in diameter.
* Be open to coaching and development to improve skills.

Essential Skills
* Proficiency in flux core welding.
* Ability to perform back and arc gouge welding.
* Competence in reading tape measures accurately.
* Experience in welding boilers or pressure vessels.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Fitting or fabrication experience is beneficial.
* Experience in welding stainless steel is advantageous but not required.
* Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $58240.00/yr.
