We are seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead preconstruction operations for industrial construction projects. This role oversees architectural planning, design development, and construction estimation while managing a team of 4-5 professionals and coordinating closely with business development, engineering, and construction teams. The Preconstruction Manager is responsible for guiding projects through schematic design, design development, construction documents, and bidding, ensuring projects are planned safely, delivered on schedule, and remain within budget. The position requires strong experience reviewing blueprints and technical documents, developing bid packages, leading value engineering efforts, and collaborating with internal teams, external engineers, contractors, and clients. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in architecture, construction, or a related field with at least seven years of experience in architectural design, preconstruction, or construction estimation, along with proficiency in tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to travel within the U.S. and Canada as needed.
