Talascend is currently seeking a R-8 Licensed Conveyor Installer, for a contract opportunity with our client. **For the right candidate (with a current OSHA30) the company is willing to cover the cost of obtaining the R8 license if needed**

License & Qualification Requirements
To qualify for the R8 license, candidates must meet the following:
Completion of a registered apprenticeship program or equivalent documented experience and training
Current OSHA 30 certification
Minimum of 2,000 hours of conveyor installation experience
Ability to meet Connecticut licensing requirements

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and drawings
Determine optimal layouts for conveyor systems
Plan and assist with removal or reinstallation of existing equipment
Travel to multiple job sites throughout the US
Work collaboratively with crews on large-scale projects
Ensure installations meet safety standards, codes, and customer specifications
Assist with electrical systems, technical drawings, and site layouts as required

Required Skills & Attributes
Strong mechanical aptitude
Hands-on experience with conveyor systems
Physically capable of performing installation work
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed
Comfortable working within the defined conveyor scope
