QA/QC Electrical Technician
Location: Michigan City, Indiana

We are currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Electrical Technician for a large scale project in Michigan City, Indiana. This position is responsible for ensuring all electrical installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Schedule:

10-hour shifts

Monday – Saturday (Sundays voluntary)

Pay:

Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)

$150.00 daily per diem

Responsibilities:

Must have knowledge of electrical codes

Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections on electrical installations

Verify installations meet project specifications, blueprints, and NEC standards

Inspect conduit runs, cable tray installations, terminations, panels, and equipment

Document inspections, maintain QA/QC reports, and track deficiencies

Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other trades to resolve issues

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards

Assist with punch lists and final project inspections

Commissioning work

Requirements:

Experience in electrical QA/QC or electrical field supervision on commercial or industrial projects

Strong knowledge of NEC codes, electrical systems, and installation standards

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications

Experience inspecting conduit, cable trays, terminations, switchgear, and panels

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

OSHA certification preferred
