Talascend is currently seeking a Mechanical Installer for a contract opportunity with our client in Lebanon , Tennessee.

$23HR PLUS $560 WEEKLY PER DIEM
4-5 WEEK JOB

Overview

This role involves performing mechanical installation work on various material handling systems with support from the client's installation team.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical work with the support of the client's installation team.
Adhere to all safety standards and ensure a safe work area.
Perform housekeeping and general clean up duties.
Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40 ft
Ability to stand or walk on concrete or steel grating for an entire shift
Able to work 58+ hour work weeks

Requirements

Mechanically inclined
Own basic hand tools and steel toed safety shoes
Ability to operate scissor lift equipment safely and accurately
Ability to operate power tools correctly
Detail oriented
Reliable transportation
Good communication skills
Good attitude
Tools that are 100% required on day 1: tape measure, 2 lb small sledge hammer, 3/8 ratchet set with standard sockets (deep well), drift pin (8-10 in), level (7-10 in), standard wrench set, chalk box, band cutters (tin snips), allen wrench set, speed square

PPE required: steel toed shoes, hard hat, reflective vest or t-shirt, safety glasses, jeans, work gloves
No skirts or shorts, no overly loose or tight garments, keep long hair tied up at all times while onsite
