The State Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Beltline Electric company on a project in Newnan, Georgia. For over two decades, Beltline has delivered dependable electrical services across commercial, industrial, and construction sectors. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead site coordination with multiple trades and subcontractors to maintain schedule alignment, quality standards, and safe work practices to ensure seamless project execution from initiation through completion.
Build and maintain strong business relationships by collaborating with clients and contractors throughout the pre- and post-tender phases.
Manage critical project documentation by gathering and coordinating accurate information for RFIs, Contemplated Change Notices (CCNs), Site Instructions (SIs), and other construction documentation.
Independently review bid documents and customer specifications to prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and related costs for management approval.
Perform comprehensive cost analyses and evaluate project performance upon closeout.
Ensure all construction activities meet or exceed established quality standards, specifications, and client expectations.
Develop high-performing teams by evaluating employee performance, providing coaching and training, and ensuring subcontractor work meets contract scope, safety, and quality expectations.
Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Drive project performance by monitoring progress against project estimates and schedules, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Adhere to State Group's standards and operating procedures, including those related to ISO9001:2015.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM
15+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
Experience managing large industrial construction projects, within the $5M plus range.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Familiarity with P6 Scheduling software.
Experience managing projects of varying scales — from service and maintenance work to large, multi-disciplinary turnkey projects preferred.
Strong time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
