Entry-Level Fiber Tester (Traveling)
Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: Monday–Saturday | 10+ hour days | 60 hrs/week guaranteed
Location: Meta Data Center – Columbus, OH
Travel Rotation: 10 days on / 4 days off
Per Diem: Hotel provided + $35/day (7 days/week)
Role Summary
Support CNC field crews by testing newly installed or repaired fiber optic lines on large-scale fiber projects. No prior fiber experience required—training provided.
Responsibilities

Perform fiber testing (OTDR, power meters, visual fault locators)
Document test results and basic project notes
Assist with fiber installation and construction support
Troubleshoot basic signal issues with senior techs
Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment
Travel with crews and represent CNC professionally

Requirements

Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
Basic computer skills (tech‑savvy candidates do well)
Professional demeanor
Able to start ASAP
Willing to travel (10 days on / 4 days off)
