US Trades is seeking experienced Safety Coordinators in various states with OSHA 500 to support long-term electrical and mechanical projects within Construction environments. This role requires strong field presence, effective communication with a diverse workforce, and the ability to promote and enforce job site safety standards actively.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator on construction projects OR CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
OSHA 500 Certification
CPR and First Aid Certification
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices
Experience working in electrical and/or mechanical scopes
Comfortable walking job sites, climbing stairs/ladders, and standing for extended periods
Ability to work in active construction environments
Ability to work in varied weather and environmental conditions

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day jobsite safety operations on electrical and mechanical projects
Conduct safety orientations, daily safety meetings, and toolbox talks
Perform routine jobsite safety inspections and hazard assessments
Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action tracking
Verify compliance with OSHA regulations, site-specific safety plans, and client requirements
Serve as a point of contact for safety-related questions from craft personnel and supervision
Monitor PPE usage and enforce safety policies consistently
Document safety observations, audits, and corrective actions
Work closely with project supervision to address unsafe conditions proactively
