Pipe / Structural Welder (Travelers) | $38/hr + $150/Day Per Diem | Long-Term Work

We are actively hiring experienced Pipe & Structural Welders for a long-term traveling opportunity. This role is ideal for highly skilled welders/fitter-fabricators who can handle both pipe and structural work in a production-driven environment. Must be willing to do both pipe and structural welding based on needs.

This is a steady, long-term job with strong hours, full per diem, and a challenging weld test for top-tier craftsmen.

Schedule
1st and 3rd shift
1st - Mon–Thurs: 6:28 AM – 4:28 PM & 8 Hrs+ Fri / Sat
3rd - Mon-Thurs 4:28 PM - 2:28 AM & 8 Hrs+ Fri / Sat
Fri & Sat: 8-hour shifts (OT available)
Consistent overtime available
Job Scope
Fit and weld structural steel and piping systems
Perform pipe welding on carbon and stainless steel
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Build and assemble components directly from prints
Perform pipe fitting and layout work
Utilize precise math and measurement skills
Work independently with minimal supervision
Weld Test (Must Pass All)
3G SMAW (Stick): 1” plate to 1” plate (steel)
2G FCAW (Flux Core): 1” plate to 1” plate
2G MCAW (Metal Core): 1” plate to 1” plate
6G GTAW Stainless: 3.5” diameter SCH 80 (.5”)
Open root (.06–1/8”), argon purge required
GTAW Aluminum: 3/8” to 1” T-joint
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience as a Pipe Welder / Welder-Fitter
Strong knowledge of pipe fitting and structural fabrication
Ability to pass 3G & 6G weld tests
Advanced blueprint reading skills
