We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder with experience in stainless steel welding for industrial and/or fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, clean welds that meet strict code and quality standards.

Work 10-12 hour shifts MONDAY TO FRIDAY
Pay BOE
$120.00 daily Per Diem -All 7 days paid if you work your scheduled shifts M-F

Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipe, tubing, and structural components
Execute sanitary welds and maintain clean, contamination-free weld environments
Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and weld procedures
Prepare materials by cutting, fitting, and cleaning prior to welding
Ensure proper purging and back-gassing techniques for stainless applications
Inspect welds for quality, penetration, and compliance with specifications
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
Follow all safety procedures and job site requirements

Requirements:

3+ years of TIG welding experience, specifically with stainless steel
Experience with pipe welding (preferred)
Ability to weld in multiple positions (2G, 5G, 6G a plus)
Strong understanding of weld symbols and blueprints
Knowledge of purge systems and sanitary welding techniques
Reliable transportation and ability to travel if needed

Certifications (Preferred/Required):

AWS Welding Certification (TIG/Stainless)
ASME Section IX Certification (a plus)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
6G Pipe Certification (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
Ability to stand, bend, and weld for extended periods
