Concrete Carpenter (Start ASAP)
Location: Manchester, IA
Pay: $22–$30/hour (based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Carpenter to support a large-scale expansion project at an industrial facility in Manchester, Iowa. The project includes the addition of a pre-engineered metal building and removal and replacement of an existing roof with a new membrane system. This is a long-duration project with strong potential for long-term employment for candidates open to future travel.
Project Details
• Duration: 6–7 months minimum
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Overtime: 5–10 hours per week
• Per Diem: $100 per day worked
• Long-term opportunity available for candidates open to traveling with the company
Responsibilities
• Fabricate, set, and install concrete forms for structural elements
• Place, finish, and reinforce concrete slabs, walls, and footings
• Coordinate with the project team to meet specifications and timelines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and applicable codes
Work Environment
• On-site industrial construction project
• Indoor and outdoor work depending on project phase
• Fast-paced environment with collaboration across multiple trades
• PPE provided; safety is a top priority
