Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Manager opportunity supporting design/build project(s) located within the Aiken, South Carolina area.
Project Manager-
This position offers an opportunity for professional growth within a DOE subcontractor project environment. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and proactive, with the ability to manage confidential information, handle multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop technical approaches, cost estimates, and schedules for large fixed-price proposals.
Support development of project execution strategies, reporting, and coordination across multiple projects in a matrixed organization.
Execute contracts, internal work authorizations, and subcontracts to meet project schedule objectives.
Establish and manage project controls, including schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
Maintain an integrated project baseline for cost and schedule using Earned Value Management (EVMS).
Lead project execution to ensure delivery on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations.
Develop and manage forecasts for bookings, revenue, and gross margin.
Manage and administer change orders, change notices, and Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REAs).
Track and report project performance, including percent complete, cost, and forecast at completion.
Interface with client procurement teams and field oversight personnel
Required Skills/Experience:
Four to ten (4–10) years of Project Management experience in construction environments, specifically serving as the Project Manager.
Strong experience managing large, fixed-price construction projects (multi-million-dollar, typically $10M+).
Proven experience managing change orders, change notices, and contract modifications
Demonstrated expertise in (some): EVMS; Cost estimating; Project scheduling; Budget and forecast management; and Baseline development and maintenance
Preferred Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
DOE and/or construction project experience (highly preferred).
Experience working under DOE O 413.3B requirements.
PMP certification
Other Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
