Job Duration: Long term role
Schedule: 40 hours/week (4/10s)
Rate: $34.00 - $38.00 (depending on experience)
Per diem: NO PER DIEM

Duties and responsibilities of Maintenance Electrician (including but not limited to):
Troubleshoot 120 volts to 13.8 KV equipment to identify and address repairs
Perform installation, maintenance and repair on electrical wiring and equipment
Trace, locate and diagnose electrical malfunctions using hand tools & test equipment
Use meters (multi, clamp on amp, megger, etc.) and test equipment (IR gun, load tester, PLC test racks, etc.) to troubleshoot plant equipment along with schematics and ladder logic diagrams, making modification as necessary
Installation or completion of conduit, cable trays, raceways, wiring and other associated electrical equipment in suppo1t of plant operations
Install & test safety systems including emergency lighting, uninterruptible power systems and battery systems and variable frequency drives
Perform building electrical check-up and security responsibilities, including plant start up, shut down, etc.
Understand PLC ladder logic, blueprints and manuals to determine proper installation, set-up and operation of machinery and equipment
Troubleshooting relay logic and reading blueprints.
Check regular and emergency lighting for compliance with project specs.
Witness and or prepare installation and assembly procedures, check wire, cable runs and connections.
Check for proper fill of transformers & Nitrogen Pad pressures
Witness and/ or conduct insulation and grounding tests (megger) to determine continuity and value resistance to ground as well as identify, locate and repair ground fault alarms
Provide and witness adjustments of relay settings.
Witness and/ or conduct adjustments to motor control equipment and setting of switchgear relays, thermal overloads and breakers.
Check phase sequence and polarity.
Witness and/or conduct testing of electrical controls.
Ensure all deficiencies are corrected - keeping and updating maintenance records
Must perform assignments safely, using good judgment, with a sense of responsibility and have the ability to work well with others.
Clerical/administrative duties related to task or maintenance documentation
Attend safety training as directed
Must comply with all safety and company rules and regulations
Employee must be able to travel to and from the jobsite via personal vehicle or other public form of transportation

Required Credentials:
TWIC required at some facilities
