LABORERS NEEDED FOR SUBMAR, OIL & GAS WORK
Job Description
- Prepares construction sites for installation of erosion control projects
- Digs, rakes, and prepares soil to prepare for application of concrete mats that are manufactured by Submar
- Loading and unloading material out of trucks
- Reads plans, follows instructions from superintendent
- Pay will be $20-22/hr
- Per diem of $46 per day
- Lodging and travel is covered
- Working 60+ hours per week
- They will be in a crew of a Superintendent, an Operator/Foreman, and 2-4 more Laborers
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated General Laborers to join our team in preparing construction sites for the installation of erosion control projects. This role involves hands-on tasks such as grading and preparing soil for concrete mat applications, as well as loading and unloading materials from trucks. Successful candidates will work under the guidance of a superintendent and be responsible for reading plans and following instructions.
Responsibilities
Prepare construction sites for erosion control installations.
Grade, rake, and prepare soil for concrete mat applications.
Load and unload materials from trucks.
Read plans and follow instructions from the superintendent.
Work effectively as part of a team consisting of a Superintendent, an Operator/Foreman, and 2-4 other Laborers.
Essential Skills
Experience in construction or general labor.
Proficiency with hand tools and shovels.
Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Willingness to travel extensively, with the possibility of being away for weeks or months at a time.
Mechanical aptitude and experience with power tools.
Experience in fields such as solar, packaging, sheet metal, painting, pipeline, carpentry, cleaning, assembly, forklift operation, and heavy lifting.
Ability to juggle competing priorities, multi-task, and adapt to changing directions.
