HCS is hiring experienced Pipe Welders for a large scale commercial project in Greenville, SC! Candidates will be responsible for various types of preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to complete project to customer specifications. Responsibilities:
Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders
Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints
Attach pipes to structures and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other method.
Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Pre-Employment Screening
Relevant Experience 2+ years
6G Welding Certification
Ability to stand, stoop bend, kneel and squat, work at heights and climb ladders throughout the day for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day
