Safety Technicians
JOB OVERVIEW:
Large industrial project in Seattle, Wa - 6weeks then travel to Ca or OH for next project
Immediate Start - Must be able to start Monday 4/6
Administrative duties to ensure adherence to health & safety standards
Drives a culture of behaviorial safety for all employesss working on the site
Pay: $39/hour + over-time
Per Diem: $140/day - 7 days if full schedule worked
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures all employees on site for all OSHA standards & jobsite protocols
Conduct site inspections & audits for safety issues
Maintain documents/records of inspections to produce reports suggesting improvements
Report all accident and incident reports for Corporate Management
Conduct investigation of accidents, dangerous occurrences or suspected health hazards
Conduct daily tool box safety talks
Provide training, along with training materials to deliver employee on-site safety compliance
Inspect PPE ~ ensure all employees are wearing appropriate PPE
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
OSHA 30 ~ OSHA 500 or 510
Valid Driver's License
Communication and computer skills
Time management
Ability to work in fast paced environment with sometimes demanding deadlines
