Key Responsibilities
Erect and install structural steel, beams, columns, and pre-engineered metal building systems
Bolt-up, connect, and align steel components
Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
Rig, hoist, and place steel members using cranes and lifting equipment
Perform welding, torch cutting, and minor fabrication as needed
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean job site
Work at heights using proper fall protection equipment
Qualifications
Previous ironworking or steel erection experience required
Ability to read blueprints and structural drawings
Welding experience preferred (stick/mig)
Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
