PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking experienced Equipment Operators for a long-term project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role is ideal for candidates with experience operating mini excavators and all-terrain forklifts in a construction environment.

PROJECT DETAILS
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Duration: 1 year
Schedule: Full-time with overtime available
Per Diem: $135/day worked

POSITION OVERVIEW
Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently while supporting site operations. This role requires a strong understanding of job site safety, equipment handling, and general labor support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate mini excavators and all-terrain forklifts
Perform daily equipment checks including greasing, oiling, and basic maintenance
Hand dig around existing utilities when required
Load, carry, and move materials across the job site
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Report equipment issues to Foreman or Supervisor
Perform light repairs and maintenance on tools and equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Assist with general labor duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS

Experience operating mini excavators and all-terrain forklifts
Basic understanding of construction site operations
Ability to perform manual labor as needed
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable transportation
