The State Group is seeking a Traveling Electrical Superintendent to support multiple projects across the United States.

WHAT YOU WILL DO


Build electrical teams that drive project performance by monitoring progress against project estimates and schedules, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Lead site coordination with multiple trades and subcontractors to maintain schedule alignment, quality standards, and safe work practices to ensure seamless project execution from initiation through completion.

Build and maintain strong business relationships by collaborating with clients and contractors throughout the pre- and post-tender phases.

Independently review bid documents and customer specifications to support project leadership with detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and related costs.

Support comprehensive cost analyses and evaluate project performance weekly.

Support Change Management and track schedules and budgets.

Ensure all construction activities meet or exceed established quality standards, specifications, and client expectations.

Develop high-performing teams by evaluating employee performance, providing coaching and training, and ensuring subcontractor work meets contract scope, safety, and quality expectations.

Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Adhere to State Group's standards and operating procedures, including those related to ISO 9001:2015.



WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM


15+ years of electrical construction supervisory or management experience.

Experience leading electrical construction teams on large industrial construction projects, within the $5M plus range.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Ability to support Scheduling software.

Experience supporting projects of varying scales — from service and maintenance work to large, multi-disciplinary turnkey projects preferred.

Strong time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Must be willing to travel for the projects.

Must be with the Union.
