Electrical Project Opportunity
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA – QTS Data Center
Project Duration: 3–6 months
Start Date: April 20
First Paycheck: April 29
Open Shift

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Midnight)

Open Positions
Electricians (4 Openings)

Pay Rate: $28–$35/hour (based on experience)

Helpers / Apprentices (4 Openings)

Pay Rate: $22–$26/hour (based on experience)

Per Diem

$100/day for days worked (up to $500/week)

Scope of Work

EMT and flex conduit installation
Assisting with pulling and terminating fire alarm cable under supervision
Fire alarm device installation
Supporting VESDA system installation, including:

Reading and following prints
Measuring, cutting, and gluing PVC piping

Helpers / Apprentices – Requirements

Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to follow basic instructions and prints
Reliable, safety-minded, and punctual

Preferred Experience

Prior experience assisting electricians or working on electrical jobsites
Fire alarm cable experience preferred but not required
