Tradesmen International is hiring Structural (Pulse Arc) Welders for long term work located in Newport News, VA! Tradesmen offers long term work, benefits, PTO, 401K's and much more to our employees!

Pay info:
starting at $38/hr and increase to $45/hr once you pass weld test + completion of welding certifications
$140/per diem for days worked (must live 75 miles from the job site)

Experience Required
Minimum 5+ years marine structural welding experience
Must have prior shipyard or industrial background.

Weld Test Requirements
Demonstrated ability to perform multi‑pass, all‑position fillet and butt welds using the following processes:
-SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding)
-GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
-GMAW‑P (Pulse Arc Welding)
-FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding
Other required skills:
-Proficient with Oxygen/Propane heating torches.
-Proven experience working in physically demanding environments, including shipboard work, sub assemblies, ladders, staging, and confined spaces.
-Working knowledge of OSHA regulations as they pertain to the shipbuilding industry.
-Experience with Air Carbon Arc Gouging (CAC‑A).
