We are currently seeking a Pipe Welder (TIG) and Pipefitter in the West Point, VA area for a contract opportunity. You’ll be working a minimum of 50 hrs/wk.

Job Duties
Perform Stainless Pipe Welding/Fitting in an Industrial Environment
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols, lay out reference points and patterns

Schedule
M-F – 7 AM – 5:30 PM
Sat – 7 AM – 5:30 PM – as needed

Qualifications
3-5 years of previous experience in welding and fitting Pipe - Stainless – various sizes/diameters
Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
Measure and cut pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and cutting disc.
Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications and instructions.
Welders – must pass Weld test – 3” schedule 40 – tig all the way out
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Compensation

Up to $32/hr. based on experience
$80/day per diem
