Skillforce is hiring experienced tooling professionals with aluminum high pressure die casting (HPDC) experience for a project outside of Milwaukee, WI. This role is focused on restoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining large production dies to support uptime and casting quality.

Shift Options:
1st Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM-7:00 AM

Travel & Per Diem:

$178/day per diem (7 days/week = $1,246 weekly)
Travel home every 2 weeks (or as needed)
Paid travel time at your regular hourly rate
Mileage reimbursed at $0.70/mile (personal vehicle)
Flights provided if needed + rental car and fuel reimbursed

Responsibilities:

Tear down and rebuild HPDC dies for inspection and service
Identify and repair issues including heat checking, cracking, erosion, soldering, and wear
Perform TIG welding repairs on H13 and similar tool steels
Replace inserts, cores, slides, pins, and related components
Maintain and verify cooling circuits and flow
Support production in resolving tooling-related casting defects
Perform preventative maintenance and document repairs
Operate manual machining equipment for fitting and adjustments
Read and interpret detailed prints and assembly drawings
