Pay: $32-$37 BOE
Per diem: $100 on 7 days
Typical schedule 58 hrs/week
Full time traveling site to site.
Projects from 1 month to 6+ months
Required Skills
� Reading and interpreting conveyor blueprints (i.e., identifying unit number, conveyor location in building, etc.)
� Reading and interpreting conveyor installation manuals
� Basic understanding of electrical wiring, termination, and troubleshooting
� Understanding of pneumatics, air operated components etc.
� Basic understanding of Material Handling Systems, the basic Controls and machine functionality
� Exhibit strong trouble-shooting skills and able to resolve equipment malfunctions.
� Cooperating and communicating effectively with key project personnel (project manager, lead engineers, Site Supervisor, and the client.)
� Intermediate computer knowledge. Experience with MS Excel and Outlook email.
� High school diploma / college or course work or equal experience in your field.
Preferred Skills
� Can work independently with minimal supervision.
� Can act as a mentor and lead small teams to coordinate efforts and tasks.
� Has good understanding of systems and equipment including.
o Machines,
o Schematics
o Drawings
o Standards
o ASC product pages and manuals
o Checklists
o Systems and software access for these applications and needs
o ARSAW and ARSTOW
o SLAMs
o Multi-Shutter
o SL2 Sorter
Education
� Two-years technical degree or equivalent experience, preferably electrical engineering related field with strong emphasis on PLC controls and/or Mechatronics
Work Experience
� 2+ years working with installation or Pre-Commissioning with a focus on mechanical systems or equivalent experience in a construction, manufacturing, maintenance, or QC environment.
� working knowledge of networks
o Allen Brandley (PLC) Processors
o Device Net,
o Ethernet,
o AS-I,
o Profi-bus and Profi-Net
o AC/DC circuits, and multiphase power distribution.
o Working knowledge of fundamental electronic test equipment, including multi-meters, etc.
